Rams Murex Sea Shells

Chicoreus ramosus. Murex multiramosus. Also known as the Giant Murex, it is white and often has brown stripes. It has three varices carrying long, curved spines. The aperture is pink and the interior is white. This seashell is common to shallow reefs in the Indo-Pacific region. Measures approx 5"-7".
