Snakehead Cowrie Seashells Cypraea caputserpentis. This sea shell has a chocolate brown base with brown and white spots on top. The bottom of the sea shell is flat. This seashell is common to Indo-Pacific. This seashell is found in shallow waters around coral reefs. Measures APPROXIMATELY 3/4". As with all of our shells, this is a natural product- so color and size will vary.
Money Cowrie Seashells Cypraea moneta. Colors vary on this sea shell, but it is generally a greenish-yellow coloring. The sea shell used to be cut and used as coins hence the name money cowrie. This seashell is common to Indo-Pacific. This seashell is found in shallow waters around coral reefs. Measures approx 1/2". Also available by the gallon as item number S6828.

Umbilical Egg Cowrie Seashells Calpurnus verrucosus. This seashell is common to shallow reefs of Indo-Pacific. This white sea shell has tips that are a deep purple color. Measures approx 1".
Flamingo Tongue Seashells Cyphoma gibbosum. This seashell is common from S. E. United States to Brazil. Found on sea whips and sea fan gorgonians. Measures approx 1".
Ring Top Cowrie Gallon Bag Our gallon bags of sea shells are a great way for crafters to get a large volume of the same style sea shell at one low price. Quantity and size varies from bag to bag however we estimate there are approx 1,000+ shells per gallon bag. Cypraea annulus. This tiny sea shell features a cream base with a gold to brown ring around the top of the sea shell. This seashell is common to Indo-Pacific. This seashell is found in shallow waters around coral reefs. Measures approx 1/2"-3/4"
Tiger Moon Sea Shells Natica tigrina. This seashell is common to Eastern Asia. Found offshore to 30 meters. Measures approx 3/4" - 1".
Lettered Olive Sea Shells Oliva sayana. One of the many color variations of this species of Olive. Smooth surface sea shell ranging in colors from dark brown to white. This seashell is found in sandy areas on the West coast of Florida. Measures approx 1" to 1. 5".
Gibbous Olive Sea Shells Olivancillaria gibbosa. This seashell is common to Southern India and Sri Lanka. Measures approx .5"-1.5".
Red Moon Sea Shells A very thin, sea shell, the outer surface is completely smooth and glossy, while the interior has thin radial ridges. This is the top half of the sea shell. The redish color makes it less visible to predators. Common in depths of 10 to 100 meters around Japan.
Small Florida Sand Dollar Measures approx 2"-3". There are few gifts the ocean gives us that are quite as lovely and delicate as the sand dollar. These versatile objects can be painted, sprayed, stenciled or just left natural; they have been bleached white to accent the beautiful starfish design that is the trademark of the sand dollar. Gray Scallop Sea Shells (Asian) Argopecten irradians. While gray scallops are common around the world, these particular gray scallops were imported from China. They are sturdier and larger than Florida Gray Scallops, and have a white interior. Measures approx 2.5".
White Scallop Sea Shells Argopecten irradians. Also known as the Carolina Bay Scallop. This seashell is common from Maryland to Louisiana. This is the top half of the gray scallop sea shell. Measures approx 2". Sold as singles.
Pencil Sea Urchin Spines Seashells Measures approx 2". These are the actual spines of the Pencil sea urchin. Used by the creature for protection from other predators.
Florida Bay Starfish Echinaster Spinulosus-Florida Found in the bay of Florida these 1-1.5" Starfish are great for decorating and crafting. Our Florida Bay Starfish are natural fish and are a medium brown color. All Starfish will have different shapes and sizes ranging from 1 inch to 1.5 inches.
White Starfish Medium (6" - 8") Measures approx. 5 to 7.5 inches. Origin: Philippines. Our White Starfish are great for crafting and Island Wedding Favors and Decorations.
Purple Turritella Sea Shells Turritella communis. Also known as the common screw sea shell. This seashell is commonly found in sand in sub-tidal waters in the Mediterranean and around European Coasts. Measures approx 2. 5".

Cameo Shells 5"-6" Cypraecassis rufa. Also known as the Red Helmet, the thick sea shell is popular for use as a base for cameo carvings. It has large blunt tubercles and rows of spirally arranged tubercles. The aperture is narrow and the outer lip is broad. The exterior color is reddish brown with some paler areas. This seashell is common to Indo-Pacific with the exception of India and Hawaii. Found near coral reefs. Measures approx. 5"-6".
The Emperor's Slit Shell 3" - 3.5" Pleurotomaria hirasei. This is truly a unique shell. The slit in the opening is natural. It is known as "The Emperor's Slit Shell" because in ancient Japan, anyone who found one of these shells was required to give it to the Emperor! (It's one of our favorites, too!!!)
Frog Shell 5" - 7" Bursa bubo. A beautiful sea shell from the South Pacific, it is a close relative to the triton sea shells and has similar characteristics. The name "Frog sea shell" is derived from the knobby sculpture of most species, which resembles the warty skin of a frog. Measures approximately 5 - 7"
