Cone Shells
Family: Conidae. Occupants of warm, shallow waters, the poison of some cones, including Conus textile and Conus striatuscan, can be lethal to humans. Their eggs are deposited in purse-shaped capsules. This is a large family and can be found worldwide. They have a rather extreme range of sizes ranging from under 1 inch to 5 inches.
