Clam Shells

Family: Numerous family groups. Clam shells consist of a wide variety of bi-valve shells in many shapes and sizes. Some are edible and some produce pearls. Most live in shallow waters, and the species can be found in either fresh or salt water. This popular shell has been a favorite for serious collectors and novice collectors for generations.

Tiger Clam Seashells- singles Codakia tigerina. Also known as the Pacific Tiger Lucine, it is common in sub-tidal waters to depths of 5 meters in tropical waters throughout the Indo-Pacific. A thick sea shell with reticulat ornament. The outside is white while the interior is yellowish with a reddish edge. All sold as singles.
